Website Design

When I start a new website project or a rebuild, my first step is to create the site architecture and wireframes. These steps are essential for a smooth and seamless design process. Sometimes a company needs a full branding system, while other times, just a brand refresh is enough. In either case, I integrate the branding work into the website planning, keeping things moving quickly while allowing time for thoughtful development.

My approach is centered around understanding the business and its audience. I aim to capture and express the unique qualities and feelings that need to shine through the branding and the website. The website is the heart of the digital marketing experience, acting as the hub for all campaigns. It’s important that it stands out and makes a strong impression.

I also bring my SEO knowledge into the website build to ensure it performs well in search engines right from the start. This includes using keywords in navigation, image names, and content. Plus, I focus on optimizing the site for speed and accessibility, making sure it’s user-friendly and efficient.

This is a small bookeeping business. They needed a logo and branding system and a simple website. We had a lot of fun with the messaging with this one. The owner is a friend of mine and we wanted to show her sense of humor.

With an upcoming show, this artist created paintings and a logo for her business and needed someone to quickly put them into a simple website.

This is a pet project of mine for creating a website for sharing art techniques and recommending art supplies. This is very early stages of building this website.

This is my resume and portfolio website. I created this to show off my graphics and digital marketing skills. The two disciplines work well together and I felt this would be the best way to show them both.

Website Maintenance
