I recently had the pleasure of working on a beautiful and meaningful project for the Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust. Each year, the organization hosts a photo contest, inviting local residents from across California to submit stunning images that capture the beauty of the Sutter Buttes mountain range. This year, I was thrilled to be involved in creating their annual calendar, which showcases these breathtaking photographs.
The process of designing the calendar was both challenging and rewarding. There weren’t any templates that could really serve the information that was needed on each of the pages as well as creating a functional calendar, so I grabbed several templates and crafted my own. The real magic happened when I started customizing the layouts to include details about the sponsors and the talented photographers behind the photos. It was important to me that each image was presented in a way that honored its beauty and the message of land conservation the Trust promotes.
Working with the submitted photography was an incredible experience. The images not only showcased the natural beauty of the Sutter Buttes but also reflected the deep connection the community has with this unique landscape. Each photograph told a story, and I felt privileged to be a part of sharing these stories with a wider audience.
One of the highlights of this project was the opportunity to support the Trust’s efforts in land conservation. The calendar serves as a beautiful reminder of the importance of preserving our natural environment, and I’m proud to have played a role in helping spread this message.
Looking forward, I’m excited about the possibility of future projects with the Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust. Collaborating with such a passionate and dedicated group has been a truly inspiring experience, and I can’t wait to see what we can create together next.
